No…they really don’t. But they’re pretty good….and I’m a meat-eater! Try the kind with the “cheese” in them. I think they’re made by Boca.

i don’t think so. there are so many varietes and brands. i’m a meat eater, although i have been a vegetarian, and i like gardenburger brand best. they come in a lot of varieties now. the portabello is super good. just try it sometime. you just might like it!

no they have a slightly different taste, most are made with vegetable protein and soy beans they can take some getting use to however once you acquire a taste for them you’ll come to enjoy them. so Bonn apatite.

Try not to think of it as a replacement for a meat-hamburger. It’s a veggie burger, so both the taste and texture will be different. Try different brands as they all vary. Don’t forget to add things like pickles, tomato, lettuce, whatever you like. And don’t microwave them…they turn to mush. Use a skillet or grill them.

I would HIGHLY suggest the veggie chicken patties over the veggie burgers. If you like chicken patties then you will LOVE veggie chicken patties. I think it’s Morningstar that makes my favorite.

vegetarian isnt hard at all, regular veggie burgers dont taste like hamburgers, but they still taste good. So just dont eat one thinking it will taste like a hamburger. There are also tomato flavored ones and they taste exactly like spaghetti…but they have motz cheese in them….but i guess you dont have to worry about that if you arent vegan. well maybe in the future you will becaome vegan… always keep an open mind

I’ve never tasted a real meat because I’ve been a lacto – vegetarian all my life, but yeah veggie burgers taste hella good, I love boca burgers and cauliflower and cheese burgers and vegetable burgers yumm

There are many different kinds of veggie burgers. Garden burger is made from grain and cheese. Very popular. Tastes nothing like cow. But Boca Burger is made from (i think) texturized soy and does taste like cow. It’s vegan but I don’t like them.

Veggie burgers are delicious. I don’t really remember what meat tastes like but I’d guess that it tastes somewhat like it. Why don’t you just taste one and see for yourself. There are many different kinds and flavors and there are even kind to substitute chicken.

No, they are meant to look like meat, not taste like meat. They taste like the vegetables they are made of. Why don’t you taste one and see?

yupp..as long as you make sure u use the same condiments to cook d artificial meat..and dont use much oil either..keep it healthy

It’s a matter of opinion whether they taste better or not… There are some, usually in the frozen section, which are so processed that they do actually taste like meat (or so I’ve been told by non-vege).

Frankly, I think veg meat contradicts what vegetarian is supposed to be. Most vegerarians are vegitarian because looking at me makes them think of a slaughtered animal. Well, I think veg meat is no different. If someone gave me a veggie burger and it tasted like a normal burger, I’d thinks slaughtered cow. And veg meat is so much more processed than anything. I can’t stand the thought of eating anything fake.
