I get those veggie burgers by Morinig Star. They are soooo good. But I am running out of QUICK ways to prepare them. Not the actaully cooking of them, but what to have with them.
Usually, i eat them on buns, or on toasted pita. That is quick and delicious. Any other suggestions on quick and easy ways to eat them?
Thanks!

  1. Once I bought the tomato and basil veggie burger from Morning Star, and I heated it up in the microwave, and then spread pizza sauce over it, and put it in a bun, and it was so delicious! Or you can cut it up, and put in into a salad, for a “Veggie Burger salad”. Very tasty. =]

  2. Ok, I get the vegan ones from Boca – but I think it is basically the same concept. This is how I prepare them and it is really quick and easy!

Put frozen patty in microwave for 1 min on high.
Then heat up a small frying pan and spray it with Pam or like product. When it is pretty hot put patty in pan to cook.
Flip it over after about a minute and then cook other side.
Slice up tomatoe, onion, and get some lettuce leafs.
Get a nice hamburger bun and put ketchup, veganaise, and mustard on it.

I have also sauted chopped onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms and put that over the patty and ate the burger on a bun like that. It is pretty good too.

  3. being a vegan is hard, how you do it?

  4. I always put them on a bun with various toppings depending on my mood. Sometimes I put load up with lettuce, tomatoes, onions etc and sometimes just mayo or ketchup.

  5. They are great with two slices of bacon and a slice of swiss cheese.

  6. A slice of morningstar bacon topped with melted soy cheese and barbeque sauce.

They are also very delicious on a sprouted bagel.
