I want to serve Sangria as our signature drink at my wedding. We are providing the alcohol and I need to know the best way to make a large amount to serve about 100 – 150 people. Got any recipies or ideas?

  1. You could easily scale this recipe to your needs

    SANGRIA (SPANISH WINE PUNCH)

2 bottles red wine or dry white wine
    1 cup Grand Marnier
    juice of 2 lemons
    1 lemon, thinly sliced
    1 orange, thinly sliced
    1 quart seltzer water

Combine all ingredients in large pitcher or punch bowl with ice or chill overnight.

Serve over ice. Garnish with frosty (nearly frozen) fruits and long slivers of fresh orange peel.

Sparkling wine or a champagne may be substituted. Can also be served over a scoop of rainbow or orange sherbet.

  2. big bottles of Chianti, slices of oranges and limes and lemons, lemonade, heaps of ice…really nice and can be freshened up if it runs low…really inexpensive and also nice served hot…

  3. My recipe for sangria is simple and serves 4 people:
1bottle of red wine/ 1 2ltr Bottle of Orange Soda/ 1 orange cut in wedges/ 1 lemon cut in wedges / 1 diced apple/ 1oz grand marnier…Just multiply my recipe by 25 or 40 and you will have enough. be sure to have enough cut fruit on hand and have the ingredients cold so it can be made quickly.
