Well I’m in German club and I decided to make a couple apfelkuchen (apple cake). I made one traditional that came out fine, but I did another recipe I found where it told me to use just a regular cake mix and chop apples and put them in. Well I did that but it didn’t look like a lot of apples, if I put some apple slices on top of the cake will the apples burn? Please help because the mix is just sitting there :)

  1. if you put the apple slices in the bottom of your cake tin then your mix on top, you just turn it out upside down and your apples will be fine just dont forget to butter and dust your tin first

  2. No, they shouldn’t burn. They might actually sink into the cake. Should come out ok.
