this is simple and delicious! it is also as good leftover.
1 lb hamburger, browned and drained.
1 can cream of mushroom soup, or whatever kind of cream soup you like
1 can drained french style greenbeans
1/2 bag of frozen potato nuggets
heat oven to 350 degrees
in casserole dish put hamburger. top with drained greenbeans then soup. top with frozen potato nuggets. cover and bake for 1 hour.
believe it or not…it is wonderful. AND you can add taco mix to the hamburger while browning it if you want…or add onions, or other flavorings…
try it…you won’t be disappointed!

This is a fun meat and potatoes type of recipe that uses ground beef. Enjoy!
Upside-Down Shepherd’s Pie
**triple-tested at the Good Housekeeping Research Institute**
INGREDIENTS
1 package(s) (20 ounces) refrigerated mashed potatoes
1 pound(s) (90%) lean ground beef
1 tablespoon(s) margarine, substitute butter
1 cup(s) (half a 10-ounce bag) chopped onions
1/3 cup(s) ketchup
1 teaspoon(s) dried dill weed
1/2 cup(s) loosely packed fresh parsley leaves, chopped
1/3 cup(s) reduced-fat sour cream
Dill sprigs, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Spray 1 1/2-quart ceramic or glass baking dish or deep-dish pie plate with nonstick cooking spray. Press cold mashed potatoes onto bottom and up side of casserole. Bake potato crust 20 minutes or until edge is golden.
2. Meanwhile, heat 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add ground beef and cook 4 to 5 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking it up with side of spoon. Spoon beef into paper-towel-lined bowl to drain.
3. In same skillet, melt margarine over medium heat. Add onions and cook 6 to 7 minutes or until tender and golden, stirring occasionally. Return beef to skillet with onions. Stir in ketchup and dried dill. Reduce heat to low; stir in parsley and sour cream.
4. Spoon ground-beef mixture into mashed-potato crust; garnish with dill sprigs to serve.

Seems as though you are burned out on Hamburger…you have named many many good for ground beef recipes. You are burned out….Gal..
Switch to ground turkey, or ground chicken….Or just serve up more Chicken, and Pork….give the ground beef a rest……just tell the kids….you are boycotting ground beef for awhile…they will learn to eat the other stuff…especially when they get hungry.

This website will help. AS far as a recipe I know, upside down pizza.
Ground beef, seasonings, pizza sauce, and a mixture of eggs, milk, salt, and flour (2 eggs, 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of flour, and 1 tsp. of salt) and 1/2 onion, chopped. Also get a couple (2-3) bags of your favorite shredded cheeses.
Cook the meat with onions (onions are optional) until browned. Drain the grase and mix with the pizza sauce. Add to bottom of a dish (casserole would be fine) and sprinkle your favorite shredded cheeses (eyeball how much you want to use). Meanwhile, mixing the dough mixture and pouring on top of the beef and cheese (make sure it spreads over all the beef and cheese). Sprinkle some more cheese, not too much, on top to give a nice cheesy “crust”.
Pop into a 350 degree oven and bake for 30 minutes. Let the dough settle (there will be air bubbles) then cut into blocks and serve on a plate, while sprinkling a little more cheese on the top (parmesan, of course.) Enjoy!

I don’t have the recipe for this one.. Tater tot casserole is a big hit at almost any potluck gathering.
hamburger pie… brown the meat with seasonings and onion, add a can of tomato soup, a can of drained green beans, top with mashed potatoes (I make a ring of them on top of the meat mixture) and top with grated cheese. Shepherd’s pie is similar but my daughter uses mushroom soup and frozen mixed veggies. Bake at 350 until the potatoes start to brown and the cheese is melty. (I think it’s best to put the cheese on after taking the dish out of the oven so it doesn’t get brown.)
We like Tamale Pie too. Brown the meat, add one pkg of taco seasoning for each pound of meat and cook according to the directions. Add one can drained whole kernel corn, a touch (a few tablespoons) of sugar and put in a casserole dish. Mix a package of cornbread mix (I use the Honey sweet) according to the package and pour over the meat mixture. Bake according to the directions on the cornbread package.

try this
or this
if those don’t ring a bell here is a whole site dedicated to it
getting out of meat loaf here is stew
or how about soup
there is also dirty rice and try adding to Spanish rice, boy that’s yummy. I have tried this in stir frys and works especially if teriaki is involved.
hope this all gets you out of the rut in the road

Jalapeno and cheddar stuffed meatballs, make like you normally would adding cajun spice to the meat, wrap around cheddar and jalapeno and cook on high in lots of oil turning over halfway through, not healthy but delicious.

Beef rice-a-roni
Brown ground beef then add to rice-a-roni and cook as directions on box….Serve with grape jelly toast..This is always a hit with my grand kids.
Hope I have helped you as this is a twist on rice-a-roni discovered when kids dropped in and had to stretch the meal.
